These are  80% receiver blanks and been evaluated by BATFE and determined to not be a firearm. It can therefore ship                          unrestricted right to you without an FFL dealer required. Subject to state and local regulations, you can then either complete             the receiver and manufacture it into a working firearm receiver or you can keep it for a "paperweight" in case you ever decide             you want to in the future.

        2.     Will TACTICAL66 finish the receiver for me? Will assist me in the machining that is required to finish the blank into a receiver?

    We are legally unable to do any additional machining on the receiver or assist you with completing the blank into a receiver. At that             point, we would be manufacturing the blank into a receiver and we are not a firearms manufacturer, nor do we hold an FFL.  We can             discuss any issues you may be having, and share others' experiences with you to help you along in the process. If you would prefer a         complete receiver, you have to shop somewhee else, as we concentrate on 80% Receivers.

3.    Do I have to notify ATF in order to complete this blank into a receiver?

        Currently, no notification is required to ATFE in order for an individual to complete or manufacture a semi-auto receiver. For additional         guidance and clarification, you should contact BATFE directly for assistance.

4.     Are there any state or local regulations that would apply to me finishing this 80% blank into a receiver?

        The state and local regulations are different for every locale in the Country. Although there are no federal restrictions, you should                 contact your state's enforcement authority and verify that there are no state or local restrictions prior to completing the 80% blank into         a working firearm receiver.

5.     Will the Ruger 10/22 80% Receiver work with 22 Magnum, or will the AR 80% Lower take .308 cartridges?

        Sorry, the 80% Ruger 10/22 receiver will only work with the 22LR cartridge. The current AR 80% polymer receiver is for 5.56mm or .223         cartridges, not the longer .308 cartridge. We should however, supply an AR-10 style Polymer 80% Lower for the .308 cartridge in the             near future.

6.     I want a discount. If I buy more than one say for friends and family, can I get a lower price?
